Grand Challenges of Engineering

Here is the link to one of the Grand Challenges of Engineering that I am most interested in: Biological approaches for addressing the grand challenge of providing access to clean drinking water Mark R Riley, Charles P Gerba & Menachem Elimelech, Journal of Biological Engineering, created 31 March 2011, accessed 26 September 2021

I think that the goal to get clean water is extremely important for obvious reasons. This challenge works on figuring out a solution to develop a solution that would provide clean water to developing countries and people in need. This would prevent sickness and death that come from drinking unclean water.
