"Viewing a Penny" was my favorite demo - it was interesting to see the different possibilities for obtaining each pixel, all of which were able to produce a recognizable image of a penny. It takes some creativity to come up with things like darkening a pixel based on how much its depth varies from its surrounding.

About Me

I am a member of Duke's class of 2016. My plan as of the last few weeks has been to study "the Physics of Flying." To elaborate, I'd like to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a certificate in Aerospace. My dream is to eventually work for NASA to contribute to space exploration. The second layer of this plan involves flight through dancing. I've been a ballet dancer for twelve years, a jazz dancer for two, and am continuing both at Duke. If time permits, I'm also hoping to get a minor in Statistics. I'm taking up rock climbing at Wilson Gym, as well as ballroom dance through Duke Ballroom (currently recruiting male partners!!). I recently became a member of the AIAA, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
